What happened
Lithium-ion batteries power everything from phones and vapes to e-bikes, scooters, and cordless tools. When cells are defectively manufactured, poorly assembled into packs, or paired with inadequate charging electronics, they can enter thermal runaway — an unstoppable chain reaction producing jet-like flames and explosive gases. Battery fires cause severe burns, smoke-inhalation injuries, house fires, and deaths, and cheap imported packs and chargers are frequent culprits.
Who may qualify
- Suffered burns, smoke inhalation, or property loss from a battery fire or explosion involving an e-bike, scooter, hoverboard, power tool, vape, phone, or similar device
- Can identify the device (and ideally preserve what remains of it and the charger)
Preserve the evidence
Don’t let an insurer or landlord discard the device or debris — fire-scene evidence wins or loses these cases. Contact us early and we’ll handle preservation demands.
