What happened
Dupixent (dupilumab) is a widely prescribed biologic injection for atopic dermatitis (eczema), asthma, and related inflammatory conditions. Recent studies and case reports have associated Dupixent use with an increased risk of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), a cancer of the immune system that appears in the skin. Researchers are examining whether the drug promotes lymphoma progression or unmasks previously undiagnosed disease that was mistaken for stubborn eczema.
